FROG was developed by the Arizona certified public accounting firm of Heinfeld, Meech & Co. A firm that, since it's inception in 1986, has specialized in auditing and preparing financial statements for over 1,700 governmental entities. Heinfeld, Meech & Co. has assisted its clients in obtaining the coveted financial reporting awards issued by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada and the Association of School Business Officials International. FROG has been utilized by the firm and its clients in preparing the reports necessary for these awards, and includes seven early GASB 34 implementations.
